This page is the hub for my non-fiction pieces. This consists of reviews and essays or essay-like pieces, which have been made into their own sub-categories for your convenience. The reviews section consists of anime reviews and book reviews. I do not anticipate doing any movie reviews, at any time. My book reviews strive to cover subjects not often brought to attention, something my long years of shelf scouring well qualify me for. The essays are fairly random, the only qualification being that the materials bears presenting to a common audience. Which is to say, it must be of potential interest to others.

- Z.N. Singer : Such a brilliant setting, in the hands of someone without corresponding storytelling talent. I'm constantly tempted to review but I know I'd end up saying something mean. I'll leave him alone, he's gotten a lot of fans for it.

- Z.N. Singer : The tragedy of a truly brilliant setup in the hands of someone with no grasp of grammar is unspeakable. That
- Z.N. Singer : SHOW DON'T TELL...ah, forget it. This person claims to collect the true best in his favorites list but...uh uh. I'm not getting anything this way.
- Z.N. Singer : How have these people gone so long without learning about little subtleties like punctuation?
- Z.N. Singer : Which eliminates at least forty percent of all entries on FF
- Z.N. Singer : I swear, any story whose summary starts 'what if' is guaranteed to have no skill in it.
- Z.N. Singer : Run on sentences galore. Show don't tell, your narrative sounds like a freakin' list or something.
- Z.N. Singer : Scanning fanfics for new additions to the collection for the first time in a while. Oh yes, *that's* why I keep avoiding it. Oh for heavens sake, dont' SAY flashback when you're having one! If you can't make a natural transition then please just go and try your hand at basketball or something.
- Z.N. Singer : Chapter Eighteen is UP.
- Z.N. Singer : Unless I was to finally post something that didn't quite meet my own standards. But there's no way I'd start doing that now.
- Z.N. Singer : So close. At last. Just a little farther, and I'll have finally gotten this part done right, and chapter eighteen's long overdue debut will come. I apologize, though it could not be helped and was not my fault.
- Z.N. Singer : Yes - GOT IT. Finally got it - the scene and sentiments finally delivered convincingly. Whew.
- Z.N. Singer : A little too late I see ^_^. Well, I'm glad you came here, I really hate FF's formatting. Make a comment or two - they're open to all! A particular scene in eighteen proved very hard to get right and has delayed things considerably but I hope to put it up - today. Fingers crossed.
